Anti-gravity, it promises much.. Its uses are indeed unlimited. The construction industry will be revolutionized. It is an answer to many Military logistic requirements. Transportation is brimming with opportunities yet undreamed of. Close your eyes and let your imagination run wild. This missive is dedicated to the wonderful achievements and ideas based on Nicola Tesla patents and other ideas he wanted to promote for the benefit of mankind..

How did all his come about? The imagination of thousands of dreamers from time immemorial finally became reality with a remote, almost obscure handwritten jotting pad from the genius of a sometimes badly represented Yugoslavian inventor of the alternating current. AC (Alternating Current) is used world wide for delivery of electric power from a metropolitan city to .the most remote towns and villages Nikola Tesla was not thoroughly appreciated by America's own genius of electrical and motion picture inventiveness. The competition between Tesla and Edison over the best delivery system to use for getting electric power to the public - direct current or alternating current- drove a permanent wedge between these two powerful inventive geniuses. .

Tesla was born in what is now known as Yugoslavia on July 10, 1856. As a young man he wrote "The Fairy Tale of Electricity." (This may be seen on the Web < http://www.yurope.com/org/tesla/uvode.htm > at the Museum of Nikola Tesla in Belgrade, Yugoslavia.)

The following excerpt is taken from that museum web site, where you may see much more Tesla history)
"Whoever wishes to get a true appreciation of the greatness of our age should study the history of electrical development.
There he will find a story more wonderful than any tale from Arabian Nights. It begins long before the Christian ere when Thales, Theophrastus and Pliny tell of the magic properties of electron- the precious substance we call amber - that came from the pure tears of the Hellades, sisters of Phaeton, the unfortunate youth who attempted to run the blazing chariot of Phoebus and nearly burned up the earth.
Moses was undoubtedly a practical and skillful electrician far in advance of his time. The Bible describes precisely and
minutely arrangements constituting a machine in which electricity was generated by friction of air against silk curtains and
stored in a box constructed like a condenser. It is very plausible to assume that the sons of Aaron were killed by a
tension discharge and that the vestal fires were electrical. This was the birth of the condenser, perhaps the most marvelous electrical device ever invented.....". . .

Thomas Edison won the battle to use direct current throughout the first public use of electric power for homes, and industry for a period of time early in the 20th century. For local power using direct current ( DC ) was not deliverable for long distances from the Edison power plants. This problem finally opened the door for Tesla to prove his alternating current system (AC) for longer distances. Today we know it as 120 Volts, 60 cycles, and is used worldwide.

The tension between them broke off the mix of unlimited genius needed to have solved many human problems. Working hand in hand might have led to quicker answers that badgered mankind for centuries.

There was jealous envy by Edison and complete disdain by Tesla for things and people not fully appreciative of his great imagination and enviable genius. Tesla liked to live like royalty and when his income rose, he saw to it that he lived it. Saving and investing didn't seem to have much appeal. When funds were low he always managed to invent and find a benefactor to use the item or invention profitably for them both. The Westinghouse companies manufacturers of the airbrake. Used on Pullman passenger cars and trains, was encouraged to finance Tesla. That company saw his genius and funded many of his inventions including the development of AC, which to all intents and purposes has replaced Edison DC electrical distribution for cities and industry worldwide, with the exceptions of small, or specialized motors.
At Niagara Falls you will see a huge bronze statue .of Nicola Tesla as a tribute to his genius and contributions to the world of electricity, as well as many more outstanding
And literally earth shaking inventions, which. are still being discovered and used.

Nikola Tesla wrote his intriguing autobiography about "My Inventions." It covers most of his life, 1856 to 1943, published by Hart Brothers, Austin, Texas, edited by Ben Johnson & with a few photos showing some early pictures of this lanky, dark haired gifted native born in the continuously troubled Balkan area of central Europe by Serbian parents in Croatia.

There appears to be a continuous aura about Tesla. His early life indicated he was no ordinary person. He was encompassed in some peculiar and chimerical manner with the cultists and spiritualists of his day. This threw some of his more important inventions and ideas, unfortunately, into the wrong camp by many less qualified scientists & engineers without his vision and electrical knowledge.

He was very naturally upset by the death of his mother when he found out. He had indicated that he saw her in a vision before her passing, and his admission of this put him into the camp of "spiritualists.," which he was not. Today it can be linked to what we call intuition. None of this can take away from Tesla his contributions to the world, no matter how "far out" some of his ideas might appear in these jaded present times, and even more so in his time frame.
The unusual inventions and discoveries from the prolific mind of Tesla, as found in the Ben Johnson edited book are exciting. These will lead readers into what will be the basics of the Greatest Inventions for the 21st Century.

Tesla's world system of power distribution without cable or distribution lines was based on his "Tesla Transformer" It produced and used electrical vibrations stronger than any other known methods then or in use today.

His second invention was his "Magnifying Transmitter." It was used to excite the earth and was capable of lighting hundreds of thousands & maybe millions of incandescent lamps around the world.

Third: "The Tesla Wireless system." It was to transport economically electrical energy great stances without wires., and with only a small loss of power over such distances..

Fourth "The Art of individualization." To be used to transmit with absolute secrecy messages and other data safely.

Fifth "The terrestrial Stationary waves". He explained this as a wonderful find on how the earth is able to accept electric vibrations of certain pitches, something like a tuning fork used by musicians and piano tuners. This vibration if powerful enough can excite the planet and be used for many important industrials, business and other commercial uses. We can now recognize a few of the present common day uses it has been found useful in using other vibrations for inventing such things as telegraph offices around the world. It was also the basis developing secretive government communications now used by most all non third world nations.

The diverse uses of his "Terrestrial Stationary Waves" machine and the offshoots of its effects is probably more recognizable as the ticker tape machine investors were using, and the more updated versions of communications by banks, investment houses, radio, Television, radar, and now even the internet. Wireless communication, as used in the cellular telephone owes some phase of their development to Tesla.
. .
Nikola did build a huge, 187-foot tall tower for experimenting with such electric vibrations at his Long Island, New York laboratory. This took place during the First Wold War, and unfortunately it was destroyed by fire, with some questions whether the government might be instrumental in this destruction as Tesla coming from central Europe might possibly be sympathetic to the Central Powers, and not the Allies. All this, of course, proved totally false, just another set of war time jitters. He was already a citizen of America and very proud of that fact. He in fact developed for his new country a manner in which to locate a submarine in any sea in the globe. Current state of the art electronic and global positioning used by the United States Navy and for navigation are in common use along with other basic uses being refined from many of his inventions and discoveries. A few years later when he heard about it, Tesla thoroughly agreed with the 1917 statement made in Congress shown here.

In the House of Representatives in behalf of the American people, William Tyler Page, Clerk of the House on April 3, 1917 wrote the following as accepted by that elected governing body

THE AMERICAN'S CREED.
I believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.
I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws; to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies

At that time there was no available government financing, which in one respect allowed him to develop and experiment on his own. He was always in need of financing, however, and Mr. J. Pierpont Morgan furnished much-needed funds for awhile. However, the grandiose nature of some of the experiments led to expiration of financing. The world was not yet ready at that time to accept or understand. "The world was not prepared for it. It was too far head of time. But the same laws will prevail in the end and make a triumphal success." (P91 Ben Johnson book). .

The Colorado Discoveries
These terrific and very unusual experiments were going on all the time in Tesla's mind, his writings and notes. It wasn't until sometime in the 1980's that some of his hand written notes were found in Colorado by two hunters taking refuge in a shack near the earthquake experiments performed by Tesla. All they wanted t do is get out of a storm in these mountains. Colorado Mountain people have an interesting saying that "if you don't like the weather, just you wait for five more minutes." They are pretty much correct, most of the time.
Two brothers, Bill and Joe Bump rousting about in a shack, scratched around to find pieces of kindling for a fire as it looked like their five minute wait would turn into a lot longer time. Brother Bill was a big man, but Joe was smaller and could squeeze into small areas for a more comfortable, above ground snooze in a dry spot off the wet ground. Big Bill, of course did not have that advantage and he grumbled around and about in the shack. for a makeshift bed of sorts. He finally found a spot on a raised mound of dirt about the size of a king sized bed and a short distance from brother Joe; which was just fine for Joe as Bill not only slept deeply but quite noisily snoring and making enough vibrations of his own to inspire the ghost of Nikola (if there was one there) to give up his vibration experiments.
.
Little Joe would search around in his cubbyhole for things to throw at his snoring brother in the hopes that he would stop long enough to get some sleep himself. He found what felt to him like a bookkeeper journal and threw it directly at blissful Bill, hitting him on the head and waking him up with a start. . The aim was good, but the following results were not that good for Joe. Pounding his younger brother, who fought back by tickling big brother Bill, they both rolled around on the ground inside the shack, finally breaking off this free-for-all brother wrestling fun when little Joe picked up the journal book and heaved it cross the shack. Papers flew out of the book all over the dirt floor. And they both thought it would be a good idea to gather them up and burn them .to start a fire as it was getting colder all the time.

Little did they know what a dramatic and fantastic find they had made by accident. They became so busy gathering up the strewn papers in the dim dawn light they almost forgot about the creeping cold and chilly wind seeping through the clapboard walls.

"Hey, look at this, Joe," The brothers then became fascinated by their find, as both were graduates in Electrical Engineering from MIT and CALTEC in Pasadena.

Hunting and fishing was their relaxation at vacation time. They had hunted in Montana, Utah, Arizona, Alaska and fished the pristine waters of New Zealand and even in Scotland. Bill was 25, and Joe was 23. As they grew up they competed with each other all the time. What the future held for them was more of the same, however it became more of a partnership in developing the theories found in that journal book while hunting in Colorado this fateful trip. It quiet literally changed the course of their lives and eventually that of the military, the construction industry and transportation around the planet. It also added fear, excitement, and danger as the years passed.

In a paper on gravity written by a university graduate from Helsinki University in Finland named Henry Jhelkis, the Bump brothers discovered that it contained some interesting and missing information needed to fill in gaps for their many formulas and other missing data.

A great deal of their previous time Bill & Joe had been devoted to researching the ideas and practicality of their found notes and papers while on their Colorado hunting trip several years before. They finally pinned down the true writer of them and couldn't believe that the author was the almost mystical dreamer of power transmission in space, Nikola Tesla. Tesla also knew that the earth had outstanding and bewildering possibilities for power transmission if tapped properly and scientifically. But-- how to go about this almost ridiculous and chimerical plan and make it a practical and useful tool for mankind was always elusive.. What a challenge! They had traced down the handwritten notes by tedious comparisons of various samples from Tesla's other notes found in the US Patent office and their university contacts in Yugoslavia from electrical engineering schools and research libraries in America. They were absolutely elated to know this as the notes were found close to where the Tesla experiments on earthquakes were reported to have been made earlier in the 20th century. The results were felt over a wide range of Colorado real estate at that time, and by some unhappy townspeople and fearful newspaper reports. The locals didn't have to worry much longer as Tesla was forced by lack of financing and a new opportunity to return to the New York area and to work for Westinghouse, a competitor of the Edison companies.

Tesla experimented many years, according to the lost notes found by the Bump brothers. Deciphering of his many other papers indicated that certain areas of the earth were more conducive than other sometimes similar ' look alike' locations to being subjected to vibrations such as he brought about in his Colorado Springs experiments in man made earthquakes. His determination to use vibration frequencies for about everything imaginable brought about his quake notes and also alarmed the locals and they dispatched the police to have him cease such disturbances. Tesla was also determined to demonstrate that wireless power could be sent to any part of the globe and to open up vast areas that would benefit from its reception. Such quixotic behavior made many less adventurous in academia to label him something more than "odd.".

Genius, like Einstein, Edison, Marconi, Tesla, Alexander Graham Bell, the Wright Brothers, and many more in the latter part of the 1800's and the early 1900's were popping up around the world. Inventors such as Lee Deforest, (the vacuum tube for radio & TV) Henry Ford for assembly line vehicle production, John Deer farming equipment, plus many more wonderful thinkers have opened doors for a multiplicity of employment, investment, and thousands of industrial and entertainment possibilities which are today considered a necessary part of daily living which none can seem to do without. Although there were plenty of excellent ideas and inventions coming forth from Europe, still, the mammoth growth was greater in the United States of America. This, of course, was due to the free wheeling individual entrepreneur. So many inventive unfettered minds were allowed to prosper and function and produce unencumbered in such an atmosphere as America fostered in those times.
Many of these inventions and theories were used in producing destruction and chaos instead of the blessings motivating their discoveries and hoped for uses by the thinking dreamers behind them. But that is another chapter in the ongoing history of man's seeming determination to annihilate himself while seeking control over his less alert fellows sharing the globe with politically inept, power hungry politicos around the globe. After the first world war (the war to end all wars, as claimed by Woodrow Wilson) everyone desired and prayed for a real lasting peace. Most students know what resulted from the Treaty of Versailles in the 1920's, 30's, and 40's. It might be well to add here that Tesla came from the volatile middle European Balkan arena. Here thousands of wars and continuous turmoil still persists unto the present. Only the Almighty knows when and if these fractured peoples will ever solve their own problems. Tesla had this to say. (This is quoted from ' Tesla's my inventions' book ' as edited by Ben Johnson.:
"At present, many of the best minds are trying to devise expedients for preventing repetition of the awful conflict which only theoretically ended and the duration and main issues of which I have correctly predicted in an article printed in the Sun of December 2, 1914. The proposed League is not remedy but on the contrary, in the opinion of a number of competent men, may bring about results just the opposite. It is particularly regrettable that a punitive policy was adopted in framing the terms of peace, because a few years hence it will be possible for nations to fight without armies, ships or guns, by weapons far more terrible, to the destructive action and range of which there is virtually no limit. A city, at any distance whatsoever from the enemy, can be destroyed by him and no power on earth can stop him from doing so. If we want to avert an impending calamity and a state of things which may transform this globe into an inferno, we should push the development of flying machines and wireless transmission of energy without an instant's delay and with all the power and resources of the nation."

Such was the mind set of this genius after those destructive and tragic WW I years. Little did he know then that the whole world was destined to repeat the horrors again in WW II and Korea, Vietnam and hundreds of smaller, localized and confined wars all over the globe. As in the case of Alfred Nobel and his explosive invention of nitroglycerine into dynamite, our fellowmen of different religious and political persuasions were again bound to repeat their stupidity and use the extraordinary inventions for their never ending political mistakes. Winston Churchill warned Great Britain and the world of things to come from that disastrous Versailles treaty which gave such hate filled mental midgets as Benito Mussolini, Vladamir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Adolph Hitler and the minions of followers still haunting the saner peoples of this world. This treaty was used as a pulpit .to force attention toward the vanquished and the hungry millions destitute for better leadership. As usual, history again plays its hand seizing those who are dead from the neck up. They refuse to learn that history will repeat itself forever until populations can overcome their religious dogmas, prejudices and decide to use the inventive minds of the true mental giants showing, demonstrating, and proving to the bewildered among our politically inept that the Almighty cannot be ruled out of our lives, our schools, institutions and ivory towers controlling education, the media, and financial establishments. Tesla wanted a return to Common Sense so that the energies of all peoples could and would benefit not only from his myriad inventions but also from all the basic discoveries of his and others leading to peaceful solutions for the entire world. This quixotic desire was hidden when all these inventions, discoveries, and developments were used more for destruction than positive fulfillment for man's role on this planet. .
"For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me, but thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us." Psalms 44: 6 & 7.

Developments

The disappearance and re-discovery of Tesla's hand written notes found in that Colorado Mountain shack was about to come to partial fruition. His invention and use of low and high frequency oscillations set up vibrations near the town of Colorado Springs lead to the overloading of the local power plant when such oscillations shook the ground for miles around. In so doing, according to his notes, he also uncovered exciting knowledge that there were certain identifiable locations he could chart on one of his maps. Certain areas would accept greater vibrations which not only helped cause a man made quake, but that this same oscillating energy made his wagon, and some small hand tools rise above the ground several feet in the air defying gravity. Man has always wanted to overcome the power of earth's gravity. How was this possible he mused after experiencing such a phenomena? As his thoughts ranged throughout his vast memory channels he mentally figured out how this was done with his vibrating machine. But he knew it would take vast amounts of then unavailable energy. He had to find a way .to put this discovery to work for mankind, using available power, and direct such energy by some kind of ray or energy projector. .

Atomic energy was known about for a century or more, but like his antigravity discovery, he was not only ahead of his time but also ahead of our present time. And as gripping and important as gravity being overcome is, it also requires massive amounts of money for such experiments. Tesla was always running out of such funds for many of his inventions, so he patented a hundred or more constructive ideas which are now coming forth as common place products readers will recognize. Such items as radar radio waves, TV, electric alternating current power transmission for nations, cites and basic knowledge now used for telephone, Internet and most computers. His large, crude, storage batteries have now been refined. Batteries were not his invention, just the refinements into small and the long lasting type as used inside computers, for aircraft and car batteries.

When he put a huge amount of power into his Magnifying Transmitter he sent a bolt of electrical energy into empty Russian Siberian wasteland as such energy overshot a closer uninhabited locale in northern Canada, previously chosen as a target. It reportedly stripped trees and laid flat an area of a square mile. To this day, scientists, engineers, meteorologists, and astronomers, and some cosmologists are still arguing how such destruction took place in this remote part of Russia early in the 1900's. The area was completely flattened and almost destroyed. There was no indication or evidence of a meteorite when scientists drilled down over a hundred and eighteen feet below the surface for clues of metal or debris from outer space. However, since the early part of the 20th century, so many mysterious happenings have fallen into place from Tesla theories, experiments, and findings, plus his hand written notes in the possession of the two Bump brothers (who are now graduate scientists among their cadre of scientific and engineering associates from around the globe) that they were almost convinced this particular damage was done by Tesla using excessive electrical power. There has not been any concrete or plausible evidence of any other sort reasonable enough for them or their associates to accept as gospel.

It is known as the Tunguska, June 30, 1908 explosion. The results were the equivalent of some 10 to possibly 15 megatons of TNT. It flattened some 500,000 acres of woodlands and other forest areas near the Stony Tunguska River in the central part of Siberia, as well as destroying many reindeer herds. This explosion was heard over 600 miles away. In many encyclopedias you can look up this evidence usually found under that rivers' name. About 1927 an expedition was to determine if the previously mentioned drilling into the center of this area would reveal pieces or chunks of meteorite such as iron, nickel or stone. None was ever found. Tesla affectionados have agreed that it was really caused by his energy weapon, and not from any wayward, off course comet striking the area. The accurate data reveals that the true cause was an ice meteor of tremendous girth that exploded and smashed into this portion of Siberia. "The Great Siberian Explosion" is a program presented by the Discovery Channel. and presented on television.
Due to his growing fame in electrical energy accomplishments he was frequently approached by several different European nationals believing that his power burst had caused the devastation which totaled around 1200 square miles! Many mid European and Middle Eastern individuals seeking to pay him in gold sought audience with Tesla, as well as Russians representing the Tsar were willing to furnish gold, not currency or cash approached him. This was spurned, as he was a very proud naturalized citizen of the United States by then and had offered some of his patents to the government for its own uses. Outside of his patents, nothing really seemed to come from his offer to the United States. Some time later during many of the frequent UFO sightings, and unbeknownst to him, he was selected to add some substance to those following UFO sightings.

If Tesla were with us today he would probably feel right at home with filmmakers such as George Lucas and Steven Spielberg and other producers and makers of such entertainment programs as "Startrek" and "Stargate." Many of these imaginative episodes and actions are based on various ideas, patents, and theories put into classic motion pictures and TV productions from writers such as Ray Bradbury and some producers, knowingly or unknowingly influenced by ideas from the fertile mind of Tesla. His inventions have been classic examples to jar the complacent into a broader realm of thinking. In doing so, the public has become gradually more receptive to such seemingly impossible happenings. The destructive death rays in movies and TV productions such as "Buck Rogers", "Flash Gordon", and a 1938 film featuring Boris Karloff in "The Death Ray" were efforts to involve the pubic in such unique and mystifying subjects. Little did many audiences dream then, of actually being witnesses to America's achievement of space travel by going to the Moon and returning the crew safely.

The premium and price tag for such efforts is staggering. That was a very valid reason that Tesla ran out of funds so many times as his real interests were in achieving actual and useable theories for later results. He was not the mathematician of Einstein, who wrote down his theory of Relativity which eventually resulted in such weapons as the atomic bomb, but he pried open the doors for metaphysical thinkers to proceed with some of his basic knowledge developing into such common place things now in our lives as smart weapons, lasers, guided missiles, the Internet, electric alternating current power transmission around the world and ongoing refinement of TV and radio, FAX, improved x-rays, Imaging, all electric motors in daily use, and much more. For proof, just look around at some of the convenience items in the home, your office, car, and or aircraft. They either contain an electric motor run on alternating current or a direct current generator/motor with the improvements Tesla made possible.

Although he had over 100.patents he never made overwhelming amounts of income like his friend Guglielmo Marconi who transmitted a radio signal. Marconi eventually made millions from his radio business and for his associates that helped him. Marconi came from a very wealthy Italian family with excellent contacts for publicity and money. Claiming to be the first one to transmit a radio signal across the Atlantic Ocean he became an instant success, and in demand for appearances and speeches. Such fame seemed to elude Tesla, although he had plenty of fame for his electrical displays showing high voltage going through his body and creating eerie sparks and flashes all around himself, and volunteers from audiences. His famous "Jacobs ladder" is still displayed in electrical engineering classrooms and museums. The most Nicola made at one time was from his sale of the patent for alternating current designs to George Westinghouse, a competitor of Edison. Tesla was paid one million US dollars for that. He used most of it to establish laboratories in Colorado Springs and latter another at Wardenclyffe, New York to send messages across the Atlantic ocean and to develop what he said would be "ten million horsepower of electrical energy." He later lost it all and went bankrupt, with the United States Supreme Court adjudicating over the disposition of this property. The Supreme Court later proved that Tesla was the true inventor of radio transmission. We can only let our own imaginations run wild speculating what "could have been," if Tesla had had the funds to actually complete his ideas, theories, and patents for mankind above and beyond what is already being experienced and being used in the daily lives of people around the globe today.

Tesla lived a full life of 87 years from 1856 to 1943. A tragic loss of such an exceptionally clear, brilliant mind of inventiveness and discovery. Most all of this knowledge was found by painstakingly piecing together the Tesla hand written notes found by the Bump brothers while on their Colorado hunting trip 15 years previously. Their ongoing associations with many various engineering seminars, lectures, and academic courses attended and presented by the brothers over those previous 15 years bound this group closely together in a sort of brotherhood determined to find all the secrets harbored in they're individual and collective studies over the years. This group composed mostly of engineers, chemists, scientists, mathematicians and meteorologists as well as curious editors from a handpicked group of scientific publications became the spokespeople and the basis for what was about to take place in bringing reality and fulfillment about Tesla's brilliance. The next meeting finalized all their current to date discoveries and mathematical formulas. This studious cadre of chosen thinkers named themselves "The Illimitables." They were now going to display their cumulative findings on just how the unusual power experiment in Colorado Springs led to the anti-gravity experience of the floating wagon and hand tools on Tesla's property, and any other related useful findings.

Allies

It began to rain quite hard on Lake Saimaa, where Henry Jhelkis was fishing. He was now thankful to be returning to his home as a storm was brewing up threateningly in the East. The fishing was good but he was not entirely concentrating on just catching fish for his evening meal. It was difficult for him to clear his mind of formulas and just get on with enjoying the beautiful lake in his native Finland. . Henry was in contact with the Bump "team" as they had been exchanging letters, FAX's and email. for sometime after the brothers read his findings on the June 30th 1908 destruction in Siberia by Tesla's Wardenclyffe power beam. This information was found in the University of Helsinki annual publication for professors and was sent direct to the Bump brothers before they had set up "The Ilimitables." He had surveyed that remote area only by permission from Russia's new power elite after the Berlin wall came down in 1990. It appeared that all that was now needed was hard currency to negotiate through or around probably what Henry found to be ex-KGB "free enterprise" nouveau riche Capitalists. All he needed was lots of money and it would have been quite easy to change careers and go into arms dealing. Being a dedicated scientific minded individual, that brief encounter with temptation was overridden by a more pressing need to spend the University funds as intended.

The younger Bump, Joe, flew to Helsinki to meet with Jhelkis. It was an immediate and successful one on one meeting. Joe and Henry were about .the same age. Their meeting at the airport proved to be more than just a scientific one. They had a great deal in common, as both loved to fish and then later enjoyed the attentions of several lovely blonde Finnish females from the university there. On another chance acquaintance two other young women who spoke fluent English were interested in having dinner with them. Lisa, a beautiful blonde Swedish employee of Helsinki University, spoke Russian and English, as well as Swedish. Milsaa was a very striking brunette and was fluent in German, English, Russian and Finnish! Lisa was a great help and door opener for Henry in later obtaining permission from the Russians to visit the destroyed Tunguska site. It was never allowed until the Soviet Union collapsed.

It appeared to Joe that perhaps more was happening between Lisa and Henry than just a good graduate student and professor relationship. To Joe, Milsaa appeared to be slightly older than himself. She was taller, slimmer and more carefully groomed than most females the Bump brothers ever knew, so he remained quite reserved, dignified and gentlemanly this whole trip when in her presence. He knew that he would have to return and seek a less remote and more frequent ways to add her charms to this group of elite individuals. A beautiful female would add a little spice to this, at present, all male engineering association about to change a few things around the globe. He was not exactly sure how this would set with his older brother. He was certain, however, that once Bill was aware of her knowledge as well as her beauty, he would be more than willing to introduce Milsaa to this all male bunch of geniuses. Henry had arranged important meetings with university engineering and electrical data technicians that proved fortunate for later experiments based on Tesla wireless power transmission.

After a few weeks of reviewing maps made by Lisa and himself earlier, Henry and Joe flew back to New York with all the information at hand and delved into the "Illimitables" work with a renewed gusto for the project. Joe was completely smitten by Milsaa. However, he was totally involved with Brother Bill and Henry for the next few months. They were determined to find the actual path of the Tesla power transmission in 1908 which destroyed so much area in Siberia, if, indeed, that was the case.. Now, they felt that progress would not elude them much longer in finding certain areas between the Tesla power transmitter and the destruction. These crudely mapped areas also included the clues for why the Tesla wagon and tools could overcame gravity. It was in these spots along the traced power path that would also lead them to another Illimitables invention for the construction industry. Henry with language help from Lisa who was hired as interpreter brought him back to visit.

More Things Unfolding
Back in Finland, Henry hired Lisa as interpreter for her knowledge to obtain permission to visit the Tunguska area and talk with local inhabitants. These hardy souls survive today in Siberia having living relatives who witnessed this 1908 event. Some lived in the very small village of Bonabara, with stories of earthquakes, brilliant lights, and the fear that it was indeed the end of the world. After the Soviets took over all of Russia and other vast territories, Soviet scientists spent much time trying to solve the mystery of what happened that 30th day in June 1908.

Since that time the Marxist, Stalin regime forced many citizens to Siberia. Ostracized workers from the Communist paradise would end their lives there. Natives told them wild stories about floating debris outside and several kilometers removed from destroyed forest. Superstition runs high in such poorly educated climes. However, they continued to pull on Lisa's sleeve repeating stories told by Soviet scientists that damage took the form in a huge butterfly pattern over the impact area discovered from aerial photographs. This pattern discovered by Soviet scientists began to make sense to Henry. Lisa explained their persistence to Henry. She was not aware at this time that their answers opened a door long closed. Henry grabbed Lisa, gave her a bear hug, swung her off the ground and became the a center of amusement to the little circle of Siberians. This was another piece of the puzzle.

Using his maps and plotting such locations as were indicted by the locals, Henry and Lisa together found many small and even large plots of ground these people indicated they had seen objects floating. It turned out that most of them would lead to some incomprehensible arguments among themselves which brought Lisa's translating ability and her infinite patience extracting the true information going from Russian into Finish or English for Henry. Both were getting a little annoyed with the various and conflicting answers from them. However, it was all they could obtain. After three days of sharing miserable primitive living conditions they decided to take what was written in their own notes for this venture and return to the university and communicate findings to the home base using their own special code. Henry jotted a small footnote regarding one particular so-called better-dressed native always present with the groups being questioned by Lisa. He never made comments, just nodding approval or laughing at some of the answers.

Their findings were received enthusiastically as it also matched with earlier notes the Bumps put together from Colorado about the way power skipping could take place as the giant voltages and release of energy blasts sped across water, ice, tundra and terra-firma.

"Eureka!," exclaimed Joe, deciphering the first coded transmission. Now all that was believed necessary at that time was to use another less powerful experiment in a locale far closer to home base than Siberia! It was decided to do this in New Mexico where power would be obtained for their new laboratory closer to Hoover dam than their four other scattered locations around the country. A test of some 250,000 volts with moderate amperage .was made and aimed at their first plotted target on the map tracing one location just a little north and west of Colorado Springs, Colorado where the first transmissions were made according to the discovered Tesla notes. The group was prepared for this and proceeded to act out the scheduled routine to make it possible. Their signal "all hands on deck" was the terminology and trigger to go. At exactly 3 AM the power burst was released from a smaller replica of the Tesla terrestrial stationary wave transmitter. It was plotted correctly and hit the area chosen 15 miles from transmission with scientific precision. It raised above ground the items placed there for that purpose. It degravitized a complete area of ten square yards full of miscellaneous old junk yard parts including a washing machine, lawn mower, a mechanics tool case and a child's wooden wagon. The crew near the target area was astounded at what they found. Even an hour after 3 IS these items were one or two feet above ground and others about ten feet in the air. They gradually returned to the surface. The heavier washing machine and lawn mower thudding down to the ground in exactly two hours. while the child's lighter weight wooden wagon came down more gently after three hours.

The target area crew was not only bewildered but also entirely overwhelmed with happy emotion. The transmission crew consisting of both Bump brothers, Henry, and their associates from MIT, Caltech, and a new staff engineer from a small Michigan college. They were in constant communication, recording all target group procedures of this experiment. Right then and there, all their futures were bound together in an unending adventure of secrecy, more hard work and experiments to tame this power for peaceful uses. Little did they realize just how much. Their lives now were to take on dimensions making some of them wealthy individuals, and leading into adventures of intrigue, emotional challenges, danger and death.

Cautious Developments

Six months after the test firing, the formulas began to take on practical uses. Using more control and less power they were now able to more accurately pulse such energy almost exactly where they needed it. The most difficulty was in plotting on local maps just where this degravitation must, or could or would be used most successfully and efficiently. . Trial after trial was now exhausting the funds put aside by this group. They were faced with the same dilemma as their ideal; Nikola Tesla had faced earlier in the twentieth century. Funds were now needed in vast amounts.. Joe & Bill, Henry, and the rest, had to halt work or find sufficient financial backing not to abandon all their years of work. Up to this time, funding came from the elite group itself, and from contacts that wanted to see some useful, positive results for their contributions.
New avenues of revenue must be developed to accomplish this adventure.

One obvious source of basically unlimited funding would be from a government. However, as the Illimitables had sworn in the beginning, this entire venture was to be kept away from outside control and kept secret. They especially did not want faceless governmental bureaucratic control. . This type of financial help would have to be their last gasp for a money supply. Government money, they all knew as a misnomer. It has no money of its own, except what can be extracted and collected from its citizens, and the continuous inflation of it. Such funding of projects always includes an umbilical cord attached to Mother Treasury and comes with a built in politicized overseer. They also knew and had agreed that there would be many information leaks about their unusual project into the hands of many unwanted and undesirable enemies of America, to say the least.

Many months were spent trying to find the best financing to allow continuation of their goals. Such nebulous projects without foreseeable and touchable physical or concrete evidence is anathema to banks and insurance companies and most investment houses specializing in boiler room pitch and sell. The Illimitables had such unusual restrictions on their financing requirements, that it appeared the project would be halted.

Soon after all their discouraging and unprofitable efforts to bring in financing, an unusual source came from Henry and the University in Helsinki, his Alma Mater. He, along with the Bump brothers flew to Finland and convinced them to use a limited portion of their profitable endowment portfolio to continue. Joe and Henry took only enough time for a luncheon with Lisa and Milsaa, with the promise to be more attentive next trip. The University required that their engineering department, if not in control of the project, would then be recipients of a royalty from of all-future contracts and income that would be from the various uses of their projects. Another three weeks of legal negotiations finally passed, all parties eventually agreed to a negotiable ten- percent for the University and the balance for Illimitables experiments. This unusual arrangement was celebrated at a small local restaurant near Henry's apartment. Everyone involved realized this was a hush-hush subject. Absolutely no press, no announcements in the University paper or any other outside contacts were to be notified, as this was part of the signed legal contract and agreement of these participants.

The Illimitables then decided to close all of their other facilities and concentrate their combined energies in the New Mexico location, which was away from any large city.
This perturbed Bill Bump, but for sake of the project, he agreed. They decided to use an abandoned area near a World War two military base. It was about the middle of the state, in Lincoln county Southeast of a small town named Corona. His fiancée, Diane Baccaman, refused to give up her career as a reporter on the New York Times. In her case, Bill was relieved for awhile as she had a rather forceful, prying and questioning personality. Once she thought she had a good story, everything else was put aside to pursue it even to an unsuccessful end. She was a determined female with the goal of get a story, some story, even if she had to imagine conclusions. "See it in print, under my byline, or else." Her statement made it easy for Bill to be relieved of her prying and annoying presence for sometime. He admitted to Joe they had been quite a twosome and intimate on many occasions when he was in New York on business.

"Yes, I wanted to bring her out here to New Mexico, Joe , but Diane is big city bred and raised and for the good of all of us I have to forget about her. She would make a good lifetime partner, brother, but she must be tamed. Your know., slow her down a bit. I couldn't tell her anything, and I know she would never be satisfied with that." Joe winced and sighed. He had seen his brother with this beautiful, curvaceous curmudgeon from the media world and wondered why she hadn't been a model for Sports Illustrated.

Joe began to wonder how he would handle his feelings about Milsaa. Sometimes the affairs of the heart make men act rather weird at times. There had to be a way to erase her out of his thoughts as his big brother did, although his association with Milsaa never approached any comparable intimacy. Even dedicated Henry was questioning his own thinking about Lisa, his Swedish blonde beauty Russian language interpreter and guru of Siberian knowledge. All hands must be dedicated to the project of the Illimitables.

Illimitables Personnel

Another month went by with more usable formulas for smaller and closer targets to their new base laboratory. Economizing on everything possible was incorporated into the project to save funds for private, invitation only demonstrations on degravitizng different items. The group had no intentions to use power pulses for destructive purposes. . Peter Radford, project electrical power engineer, developed a condenser-lithium battery combination that saved power from Hoover dam for re-use. Peter's battery would put out ten watts of high amperage for every five watts of power input. This is currently a patent pending being handled by project attorney Daniel Vanwill, .

The Bump brothers and full associate Henry Jhelkis had selected those chosen to join the Illimitables. This turned out quite appropriate for such a project since the signing of the contract with Helsinki University. All were now living in a compound, something like a more humane military restricted camp. Mr. Fred White developed this. He is a large, imposing African American ex-Marine trained in CIA and BATF techniques before retiring with 20 years under his belt. He was happy .to get away from government bureaucracy. He was placed in charge of all security. Paul Derinson, a renowned professor of Laser technology .who taught that subject at USC for advanced electrical engineering, recommended Fred White for. handling security. He also was now retired and with no family ties. Ever since the required economizing move from different locations, the members began a fellowship relying on one another for information and help in their work, a rather unusual technical types fraternity. .

Martin Springer was a graduate student from USC. He came aboard the group after two years teaching at Hillsdale College, in that delightful, small town in Michigan. He worked there because they brooked absolutely no interference from the Federal government for over 20 years. At one of their many meetings Martin was given the floor to expound about his favorite college and why he was promoting some of its graduates for consideration to join the Illimitables.

Martin went on: "The college was now able to hire teachers and professors from anywhere in the world. It had never accepted one dime from any branch of government, which enabled this college to chose books, courses, and projects it felt were better for the students and the college, and America.. This particular college was founded in 1840 and graduated both females and black students into the professions before the Civil War, and helped the Underground Railroad during and before this tragic war. It furnished two Union Generals and many volunteers. It is funded by private donations from large and small companies and individuals who believe in Constitutional government, low taxes, smaller government, free enterprise; a profound belief in God, the ten commandments, Judeo-Christian ethics and Greco-Roman thinking. Hillsdale College teaches these concepts; they are still the basic instruments to use in educating young formative minds that helped developed America into the world's greatest nation! "

When he finished his little speech--. Silence. Then a sudden unified burst of enthusiastic applause and whistles. The Bumps were well pleased with Martin's recommendations and with those that chose to come aboard. These recruits knew what they had to do and. accepted this career challenge as a chosen member for such an illustrious organization. They all seemed eager for a fruitful and career experience here.
When Martin had finished his little promotional talk on Hillsdale, it opened the door for more background comments by other members willing and sometimes eager to tell more of their educational and their own visions about joining. It also eliminated massive quantities of unnecessary written papers. Instead, the crux of each finding and experiment was video-recorded cutting down on voluminous reams of paper work. All was automatically transcribed by another device developed and patented by Daniel Vanwill, the patent attorney and legal counsel for the Illimitables, and an unhappy graduate of Harvard Law School.
. .

Frank Novus became the CPA and all related accounting problems. He came from
Portland, Oregon and was a football fan of the Oregon Ducks. With much kidding included. He also raved about the beauty of his home state, and his favorite spot, Sun River that has its own airport catering to general aviation pilots. He flew his own Mooney, which also led to much wild hangar flying by fellow private pilot Roy Beems. He was brought aboard as Project Coordinator and never missed a chance to comment about the "funny looking" Mooney's unique perpendicular rudder. Roy, of course, flew his own high wing Cessna aircraft.

Bill and Joe Bump found another member for their team, named Thelma Sales. She became the other African American; a science teacher with degrees in chemistry and Spanish language and Latin literature. The Bumps discovered her while traveling in the Southwest a few years ago. They were scouting for possible sites for a laboratory, and to get more information about the University of Las Vegas, Nevada.. There they met Thelma, a recent widow and a docent for the university. As the three discussed general chemistry and its usefulness to mankind, she told them of her desire to get away from her present work and use her background in another field. She had become very interested in the courses being taught there by a Professor Hans Hoppe and his mentor Professor Morrie Rothbard from the Von Mises Institute teaching Austrian Economics. She wanted to retire and devote full time to this neglected and very needed factual refutation of dying but still taught current Keynesian economic thought unfortunately still gripping Academia. Nearby Nellis Airforce base had employed her late husband. Unfortunately, he was killed in a crash of a test vehicle on the base in a rather hush-hush project. That is all she would ever say about her brief marriage.

Two other original members of this team had written and explained their theories on gravity in many papers, which had been published in journals by MIT, Caltech and Glasgow University in Scotland. Samuel Gaspar never received his degree from Caltech as he was hired by the US Navy as a specialist in metallurgy and its treatment under extreme heat and cold temperatures. He didn't much care for the regime of navy life and was delighted to end his contract and join another of his corresponding gravity Fellows making the transition into more challenging work. Sam and his gravity contributing friend and MIT graduate, Richard Wallson, were united at the compound in New Mexico and eventually with the Scottish gravity scholar, Bruce MackIntosh. After their first month here Sam was being somewhat remorseful about leaving the navy and its restrictions for another form in the compound. The big difference for Sam and others was the camaraderie among such dedicated and single free thinkers pursuing the common goal of conquering gravity. Even Albert Einstein had dedicated much of his later life to solving the mysteries of gravity. That was considered good enough company for this trio of gravity experts.
The big challenge now was assigned to the later group of Gaspar, Wallson and MacIntosh. to find ways making small items such as hand tools, and even a hand held weapon, to rise above ground in a controlled and useful manner by a transmitter using benign micro electromagnetic pulses aimed at a specific target close at hand. This proved to be a summons for them to concentrate all their energies. They had worked out many formulas before, but most all had been used to control larger bursts of Tesla energy toward pre-chosen distant target areas. This eventually proved unnecessary. .

The compound was buzzing with so many different procedures in all directions, that a special meeting had to be held deciding that concentrating on just one or two must be perfected to have something ready for practical use before the Helsinki contract would be terminated, and funding cease.. After much chest beating about the wonderful findings developed by the Illimatables, the final vote by the founders both Bumps and Jhelkis, an agreement was settled by Coordinator Beems and CPA Novus by unanimous vote put aside other projects. Until something saleable was finalized, patented and demonstrated, the two activities using all brain power available, engineers, scientists, mathematicians, and everyone now in the compound, would be used for first degravitizing small hand held items, and secondly, degravitizing heavy objects to be used in construction work. They had only 90 more days to put all this together now before the Helsinki group arrived and expecting positive results.
Both private pilots Beems and Novus sold their personal aircraft to help with financing. A very painful experience for any private pilot. They vowed to buy like aircraft again when they had money again. That is real dedication to witness pilots selling their own airplanes to help financing. The deadline was beat back six weeks by terrible freezing weather conditions in Finland restricting all commercial flying. This additional breather was all that was needed to complete a very satisfactory and workable demonstration by getting large blocks of solid concrete off the ground for over 45 minutes to a height of almost 100 feet! "Hey, said Henry, let's call this 'operation Nikola' for Tesla's genius behind all of this." There was unanimous agreement.
This demonstration was the answer to their prayers. Coordinator Beems and CPA Novus admitted to the group that if it hadn't worked there would be no money left after the next payday. . All Tesla notes published and unpublished, all ever found by any of this group were stapled on all bulletin boards in the compound and all doors to these rooms were locked and guarded when vacated.

Survival was now the driving force surging through the Illimitables. Their goal had been determined and set in cement, literally, when the concrete block rising and overcoming gravity using their accumulated Tesla knowledge proved successful. The power unit was still a very bulky thing and had to be used exactly using sympathetic vibrations accepting the power surges sent into the cement block by a laser beam placed strategically for that purpose. For construction purposes it didn't really matter just now, as the unit worked perfectly for the demonstration. All now breathed much easier, knowing that at least more financing would be available. After this astounding demonstration proving that another human desire, freedom to overcome gravity, and to do so on cue, had finally been realized in time. The Helsinki financing administrators and their skeptical accompanying scientists witnessed a repeat demonstration later that week. Within hours of that accomplishment, done on cue, they wired their Swiss bank to place another large deposit into a special account for the Illimitables organization. Henry Jhelkis soon after was discussing these matters with his Helsinki colleagues and wanted to know about two unfamiliar names and faces coming over from the University.

"Oh, you mean Oscar Raspunsky and Olga Orlavslav? Answered Alfred Munterman, Henry's old professor of electric power engineering and now a highly regarded fundraiser for the university. .
"Exactly," Replied Henry with a disturbed expression.
After much discussion about these two Alfred felt that Henry must know something about Oscar that made him feel very uneasy about the man.
"What's bothering you, Henry? Alfred asked.
For the next ten minutes Henry pieced together a story on Oscar that made Alfred uneasy as well. It seemed that Henry along with his Russian interpreter from Sweden, Lisa, had been shadowed by this same Oscar everywhere they went while on their mapping trip investigating the Tunguska area in Siberia.
"He was there no matter where we went as Lisa interviewed the local people gathering much detail and information.'" Said Henry. "He never said a word, was just always present. How did he manage to come with you, Professor?"
Alfred explained that Oscar had been a student of his some time ago and was interested in the Tunguska area. He had written his own version of the devastation, and was instrumental in bringing to the university evidence of gold bullion contract receipts for deposit to a Swiss bank handling Helsinki University endowments and other funding needs. Oscar seemed to be accepted on the face value of the gold bullion deposit receipts. Professor Alfred also indicated that his paper was a rather uninspired and very wordy explanation that had been written about many times before.
With all the actual deposits going into the endowment funding for the university, he was accepted and came along for this trip to New Mexico. Henry indicated he still felt uneasy about Oscar.
"And what about Olga?" Henry asked.
Again, more explanations by Alfred who indicated she had transferred from a Wisconsin University with degrees in Human Relations, Chemistry, and Finance. Alfred remarked she graduated with excellent grades and had been offered a position with several different banks in the States, as well as a chemist with Dow Chemical. She did, however, seem to be more than just a friend of Oscars, as he had arranged for her transportation and living expenses in the United States and evidently a salary of some sort.
"I think your American friends might refer to Oscar as being her 'sugar' daddy," chuckled Alfred. "Oscar would go nowhere without her, and I am surprised she never was seen with him on your trip to Siberia."
"Hmmm" being the only comment from Henry, who still looked unconvinced.
Henry's inquisitive mind would not rest easy by his old Professor's remarks. The Professor was quite satisfied with his own interpretation, even if he was not. Henry then
confided this conversation about them to Fred White of security as well as Bill and Joe. who showed mild interest. It would be some time before more was accidentally discovered by Thelma Sales discussing a chemistry experiment on mixing dry ingredients for building materials used in the demonstration elevating the cement block. No one beside Henry suspected Olga's real reason for such close ties to Oscar until Thelma discussed her conversations with Bruce MackIntosh. Olga wanted all the specifics on what mixtures, moisture and measurements that were used. They both realized then that she was probing for this patent pending formula for reasons of her own. "This Ilimitables formula is top secret, Thelma, and shall not be revealed to any one." Bruce reminded her in his Scottish accent. "Your degree in chemistry and working with Gaspar and myself was vital in developing this formula."
Before another week went by, contacts made by ex-Marine White shocked no one except Alfred and another engineer from Helsinki University.

"What did you find out," gasped Alfred. "Olga is such a demure, sweet, beautiful
Lady. Just because she is Russian does not make her suspect. I do not believe
anything bad about her, she is a dedicated and valuable asset to the University! "
Alfred was perplexed and turned red in the face.
It took another half-hour to convince him that the information came from impeccable
sources. This was not a good omen as they had valiantly worked to eliminate money
funds with political strings. The University had worked beautifully up to this
discovery. "All hands on deck" meant something big was taking place.
"So what is their source of funds, particularly the gold bullion deposited in Switzerland?
And, are we going to be endangered in our work now?" Piped up Roy Beems and Frank
Novus, the two in charge of coordinating and accounting. "We have to keep this project
afloat and pay the bills."

Faced with this problem it was decided to play along with all the outsiders brought over
from Finland, use their funds and wait until the overseas group departed for their home
territory. Fred White and Sam Gaspar knew more about the situation. Sam had been
acquainted with an English engineer named Cedric Bosworth, a handsome fellow with a
weakness for the fairer sex and they in turn found him very approachable. He also had been
hired by the US navy to work with him on projects before Sam decided Uncle Sam's navy was
not for him. They were sharing a luncheon with two young ladies who had been introduced
to Bosworth by his roommate. One was short and sweet looking, the other was a
lanky German girl. Both were brunettes. That was pointed out several times by Sam.
"I can honesty swear that this Olga Orlavslay is the identical one here, only she is a
blonde now." Filling in more details about their luncheon conversation later that
night, Bosworth said he and the short one spent several nights together after that. Sam
had not seen the tall German girl before or since. She was more interested in Bosworth
and his projects and the happy Englishman boasted about the two on several occasions.
He also revealed that the two girls had questioned him on his work while in
compromising bedroom situations. .

The volume of money pouring in from the ex-Soviet union made the Swiss banking
executives more uncomfortable than ever. Switzerland had always guarded there
clientele with great confidentiality. It was becoming quite difficult for some of the
larger as well as smaller banks to handle secrecy without more basic knowledge of those
organizations and individuals seeking asylum for funds from unknowns.
Most of the money from Russia was in the form of cash. This is great as a general rule.
However the canny Swiss from years of handling money from all over the globe smelled
a money laundering scheme flowing out of questionable Russian banks, themselves
seeking shelter for crime gangs and converting their funds into US Dollars.

The more Sam revealed about his suspicions regarding Olga, now a blonde, he pictured in
his mind a spy still employed by Russian intelligence.
"I tell you fellows she is a spy, and Oscar is more than just her 'sugar daddy."

"We should have something more than just your suspicions," said Bruce, the Scot with
his usual thick brogue. "We can turn our own hound dogs loose on them both,
and until now I have not revealed to any of you that my contacts in Scotland can do this
remarkably well and not put us under suspicion."
"And who are your friends you can trust in this matter, Bruce?" asked Coordinator, Roy
Beems. Bruce puffed up a bit on this question. "The Black Hand." He exclaimed. "A very
ancient Scottish society predating the Sicilian Mafioso, and a lot more cautious and feared"
Bruce continued. "What I am about to tell you I will deny if ever questioned. You are bound not to reveal what you are about to hear. Those present all agreed, under oath, as Bruce demanded before continuing. Hearing their unanimous agreement he then gave many gory details and proceeded with the more basic history. "The ancient clans were so warlike they quietly set up an organization to extract information from unhappy Englishmen. The English were determined to conquer Scotland at any price. The Scots were just as fierce not to let them. The Black Hand is a surviving secret clan that even Sir Gregor MacGregor, who supposedly knows about all clans, refuses to admit they even exist. But in World War one and two were totally dedicated to the Allied causes. I am just a simple gravity engineer from a surviving clan. No one in authority will admit it exists today." He went on, a few well-placed individuals in Great Britain only know "The Black Hand Society". It works behind the scenes and was a principle in breaking the codes of Magic and Purple in World War two, codes used by the Axis powers and in the Cold War, and the Soviet codes in Cyrillic." As the Illimitables were to find out, the society could also be used for assassinations.

It was determined by this time Oscar and Olga were funded by ex-KGB officials
Controlling a huge empire of stolen Soviet Russian military equipment being sold
around the world for US dollars and gold negotiated with payments from Iran, Iraq,
China, or any country with available funds. Anyone with funds were able then to
purchase old and excess weapons of all types from these cunning military and
Communist political figures now dedicated to getting rich as fast as possible and then
disappearing with their loot.

They did have to launder at least fifty percent. What better way than to fund a University
seeking new paths and more ways for scientific research to improve business and
industry? And that was ironic as most developments were financed with a small print
paragraph requiring some ownership of doubtful, negotiable percentage. What the
Bumps didn't want in using U.S. government funds showed up anyway with Helsinki
University donating laundered funds by another government forced to do so by its
own government.
"This whole mess is due to the guile of Olga and her "sugar daddy," sighed Henry, who was now in a deep depression over what had taken place.
It was to their great relief that Thelma told them Olga was only interested in the Tesla
Power pulses for destructive uses and not how gravity was to be overcome. Olga was
ordered only to find the potential uses for weaponry. So now Illimitables proceeded to
refine their prime purpose-- anti-gravity for smaller items, which would not use power pulses
for destruction. .
Test after test by laser expert Paul Derison and Bruce MackIntosh, developed into a small hand held device with a pistol grip. It could be pointed and fire its cobalt blue light at an object and raise it off the ground a few inches. He refined this device to use more power by using a backpack. This enabled the user to get smaller objects above ground as long as it was pointing at the target and the power remained sufficient. Working with the newly developed battery by team member Peter Radford, the power backpack could sustain an object suspended above ground for at least thirty minutes.

"The possibilities of this are infinite with some pretty wonderful and outrageous results for users'" beamed Paul. "It has tremendous uses for the police, military, construction and whatever you can dream up."

An Unusual Application

It was decided to patent this as soon as possible as Tesla had done with so many of his
Inventions. When the patent pending came for their device, a real test for it came very soon. US Citizens were becoming alarmed at the nightly penetration of the border by people from Mexico and were looking for a way to stop it peacefully.
"We can sell this little item and create income for the Illimitables now," they smiled. They always gathered together for each testing. They took the device and drove to El Paso, Texas waited until dark to see if they could help solve the Southern border problem in a humane manner without harming the illegal crossing over into Texas or New Mexico. They did not have to wait long. Toward dusk, about an hour later, more than six such illegal people tried to cross into El Paso. For the first time the cobalt blue laser beam was pointed at the lead person trying to cross over into Texas at dusk. All present, including the illegal people crossing over were dumbfounded as he was raised off the ground at least one foot. His five other companions just gaped, gasped and ran in all directions.
Not knowing where to run, it became an almost laughable situation. Two of them ran back. The two that didn't run back simply stopped and stared at their floating leader. The border crosser just hung in midair flopping around and unable to get any traction to run, walks, or balances him! .
For a long minute or two, the test crew just stared at the man floundering around in the air. Then a loud cheer went up from them. "This is really great! What marvelous things can now be achieved."
Using a cell phone they all waited until two members of the Border Patrol showed up and watched how amazed they were as well. As they were explaining to the awestruck patrol
what took place, they became too involved to notice the gradual drop of the "undocumented"
illegal.

Someone shouted "Hey, grab him before he reaches ground and get traction and get away"
Just as the wild-eyed cross-country runner from Mexico came down he was handcuffed and led away by a just as wild-eyed patrolman. Three of his five companions stood still as Paul Derinson, the laser expert and one of the test team, raised the laser pistol and pointed it at them. They also were arrested and taken away by the two patrolmen. After talking with the patrol officers and getting a commitment to keep quiet for awhile about what took place until more thorough testing was documented they all shook hands in the hope that their word would be binding.

"Well, I guess the other two got away," said the other border patrol officer. "But this is really a first. Three or four out of five is not a bad night's accomplishment. What the heck do you guys call that thing?" The two other dumbfounded companions were cuffed, questioned in Spanish and taken away by the patrol officers. The border patrol repeated their question, "What is that gadget you used to make these border trespassers become helpless and just hang in the air like they did?"
Paul Derinson answered with the first thought that came into his mind; "We call it the 'Nicky' for a man named Nikola Tesla."
"Who the hell is he?" asked a patrolman.
"You'll find out pretty soon, maybe!" Paul commented.
And with that statement, the name 'Nicky' stuck from that time on.

Back at the compound a long debriefing took place, putting all information in their own journals and placing them in security files, witnessed by the test team and two other Illimitable members. .Secrecy for all project testing was always a priority. They were not too worried about the two border patrol officers, as it would appear to their bureaucrats to be a "Yeah, Right!. attitude.

Sergeant Jesus P. Ramirez had heard all sorts of tales from his men about UFO's, huge birds carrying people off and tunneling under the border, which to his amazement the latter proved true. He couldn't believe anyone could do such a thing using a blue light beam. He was unconvinced. "Just write up your report and both of you take a fishing vacation up north out of this hot sun here in El Paso." That statement was made by an old hand in the patrol used to hearing weird stories from his crews at times. Officials praised Jesus Peter Ramirez work and he was promoted to Lieutenant from Sergeant. His two officers witnessing .the results of the laser occurrence remembered that he also took credit for another patrol which found the drug tunnels
"Oh well, let's go fishing. When he finds out we were not hallucinating, he will have to get details from us if he doesn't want to make a bigger ass out of himself." His fellow officer agreed and they went fishing. "I wonder where those blue light laser people came from. We were too busy to follow them. Do you think we should go fishing for them or catch some real fish?
"Let's catch some fish and keep mum for awhile and see what reaction, if any, comes from our report given to our new Lieutenant, our old Sarge, taking credit for what we did."

The attorney, Daniel Vanwill, had received the proper notice of parent pending with a brief note stating that this patent had to be challenged for a reality check. The department, after careful perusal had to be sure that it was not an infringement on an early Nikola Tesla patent that might be used by some other entity. "We shall patent all our inventions and discoveries."
A date was chosen for government witnesses were to be established. Notification would be sent announcing where, when and who. . Daniel stated that it is now extremely important to protect all formula, tests, and activities from discussion with anyone from the outside. All the Ilimitables repledged just that. This border test was going to open up new vistas as well as probable unforeseen problems.

Refining the backpack power unit to generate more voltage was achieved. The time to recharge it now took only four hours; not the previous required twenty-four. More packs were made and improved using the power transformer and condenser combination. The pistol unit was redesigned to be used with a convenient belt holster patterned after the old Western six shooter sidearm. Holster with pistol weighed only three pounds, making it easy to handle. Further experiments were done with the hand held laser by pointing it at a previously mapped area on the ground. Tracking the path of the earlier greater charges that were used to raise items like an old washing machine and child's wooden wagon, allowed the user with the newly powered backpack to raise up large items independent of a power source far away. This realization showed their mapping in New Mexico, Colorado and by Henry in Siberia, that it could be used just about anywhere if done in conjunction with their exclusive maps. Their signed pledges now became extremely important to secretly complete their many projects away from the outside world. Later experimenting led to the knowledge that the cobalt blue laser could be used successfully even without using the mapped areas found sympathetic to anti-gravity.
Another experiment using the chemical formula by Thelma Sales for mixing stronger and lighter cement was concluded. A large six-foot by six foot cement block was hauled to a previously mapped spot just outside the compound. One space on the ground was already lasered. An adjacent space was not. The cement blocks were placed on them. Bill and Joe wanted Thelma to have the honor of this test for her special mixing formula in the making of these cement blocks. She pointed the pistol at the block and slowly raised her beam upward. It wobbled a little, and then it rose up with the laser beam obediently following her aim. She used the same procedure for both blocks.
"Oh Lord alive!" She exclaimed as all the associates clapped wildly. "Wow. Is this a wonderful development? Thank the Lord for his guidance. This opens up tremendous possibilities in the construction industry." She then maneuvered the block precisely where designated to be placed on the ground.

"Thelma, your mixture was what Olga seemed to be after, Do you agree?".asked Bill.
"If Olga was only after the cement formula, I wonder if they have already developed a lifting laser like ours?"
Bruce MackIntosh in Scottish brogue volunteered, "I will enlist my Black Hand contacts to find out if that is a certainty."
Diane Baccaman

A cloudy, dull day in New York's Big Apple was just right for Diane. It was the kind of day she loved to sit in her office and relax. These were days used to read and catch up on things. She always watched for unusual events to create or develop a story for her column. Browsing through papers and the PC on her desk for ideas she came across a blurb about a ridiculous claim from a border patrol sergeant writing in his report that two of his own men had been in the hot El Paso, Texas sun too long. His men reported that they had captured some four or five illegal aliens sneaking across our Southern border. "Big deal," she said to herself. "That happens everyday of the year" What's so different about that. But she kept on reading the report, as she needed something to write about. Continuing the report she smiled about the floating illegal and his followers crossing the border at dusk. She laughed out loud and re-reads the report several times finally deciding there had to be more to it than this dumb report from an El Paso newspaper. Diane knew that her old companion Bill Bump had moved somewhere out West, but did not know just where after their breakup. Remembering that Bill seemed interested in what she considered just short of weird science fiction, that he was much too secretive, and would always clam up about what he was doing; she wondered about him and the report. "Blue lights, indeed! Hah!".

When the local story reached the compound, the Illimitables were disgusted that they had notified the Border Patrol. "We should have just let them hang around in midair. Somebody would have found them, and no one would have been the wiser. Who would believe the story, anyway?"

Henry Jhelkis and the Bump brothers decided to put a presentation together to satisfy an inquiry from Oscar Raspunsky, the now suspected Russian agent. Since he and his comrade soul mate Olga Orlavslay was comrade in aims, they were given only enough evidence to pique the two spies into arranging for more gold deposit receipts for Helsinki university. At this stage of development it seemed the only way to have funds continue flowing to them. It could be a dangerous game to play, especially with ex-KGB agents. However, keeping these two off balance for awhile would give needed income and with their own security and the assurance of help from Bruce MackIntosh and his Scottish "Black Hand" associates, the principals were willing to take this risk. .

The new Millennium was coming. One Thousand more New Years was soon to be upon the entire world. The Illimitables were now working around the clock. Eight hours work days turned into twelve and eighteen hours as needed for their work. No one complained. Sometimes they worked twenty-hour periods. The rush to complete development projects was bending friendships and tempers into unusual situations. Dedication was high even without much needed sleep by all hands. The realization that the laser pistol with power backpack and the packaging of certain discovered ingredients for making extremely strong and lightweight products that would accept power pulses seemed to be the catalyst keeping everyone in line. Knowing that these two patented products would open unlimited markets worldwide and perhaps enable them to reap rewards for their dedication was a very worthy goal. All hands were happy with their individual dreams and worked in harmony for a first time for these projects.

"Unbelievable, " sighed. Joe and Brother Bill almost simultaneously. "I find it simply amazing all these diverse, educated minds working together without chest beating. I'm glad we all decided to concentrate on the two projects to get them ready for marketing."

The demonstrations of the laser pistol and power backpack were shown before several police training facilities in smaller cities and towns. This was for the purpose of eliminating, hopefully,
too much hype and ill-advised news coverage by major media blowing everything out of proper proportion in each event at this stage. Their approach was very simple. The Bump brothers and Henry Jhelkis along with Daniel Vanwill, the Illimitables attorney briefly explained their mission. The local Police Chief would obtain signatures from his most trusted officers who would see the demonstration. Working Westward, they visited the towns of Truth or Consequences, Socorro, Gallup, New Mexico, and the furthest West on these first demonstration trips was Flagstaff, Arizona.
The results were almost identical after each showing. "Unbelievable" "We have to have it"
"Name your price" "When can you deliver?" "Is it difficult to keep charged up?" "What are the necessary safeguards" "Can we be sued?" "What large cities have seen this?"

The various police departments were given answers needed to satisfy them completely. Deposits would be taken after each town's council promised to sign a contract for delivery if made within three months after their meeting. This gave the project engineers time to satisfy the Patent Office bureaucratic snipping and their laborious inquiries regarding their quizzing on Tesla infringements.

"We can meet every requested deadline for delivery." Said Richard Walson, the anti-gravity superintendent. "We have five complete 'Nicky' units ready now. Just get the money, guys, and we will be rolling. We should receive nothing less than fifty five thousand dollars each.
And, as improvements are made we will raise the premium, if it is right to do so at that time. The saving of human life at this economic price is dirt-cheap! As production and the training of qualified buyers are increased, perhaps we can even lower the price. Right now it .is not open for debate." They all knew the financial costs and the 'sweat equity' put into the developments. But, could, or would these smaller police departments pay that price?
The answer was a resounding yes. The smaller towns had to make substantial payments and sign contracts to do so before any deliveries made. The smaller newspapers and radio stations
Having heard about the device finally received permission for some employees to ride with police now becoming adept using them after the local PD had been properly checked out and the guns fitted and "registered" to the individual handprints of qualified users at the Compound. . This small town testing was found to be the best way to have demonstrations. Big time media was flabbergasted to be ignored and to having the first exclusives seen or heard come from "cow towns." Ted Turner's CNN, the New York Times and the Washington Post would now cold shoulder anything they heard about using such preposterous nonsense for law enforcement. The Los Angeles Times on the West Coast followed suite much to the delight of the Illimitables.
"We can proceed unhindered by inaccurate bad press from controlled media and make headway on our own merits," voiced their attorney Vanwill. He continued, "I believe investors hearing about us through more independent sources such as the West coast Investor's Business Daily newspaper and the Washington Times, in DC, can pique higher interest, The time has come, in my opinion, to release our own edited e-mail to selected recipients that we know from past contacts and experience, to be supportive of our work and who will treat these releases as exclusive and confidential for their own use. They will know it is not just "spam on the Internet" We discussed with them earlier in our development programs along with Bruce MackIntosh using his Black Hand contacts and getting them approved for us at this stage. of our developments"
Deliveries were made as scheduled to the original towns and cities signing the required contractual financing. Required user reports were sent regularly to the compound by encrypted
E-mail. After three months of this rather secretive communicating, all were put in journals for
later use as evidence for whatever purpose they may be needed.

Travel Trailer Publicity
A cross country travel trailer club spent a few nights in a local public area designated for such use in the small New Mexico town of Moriarty, just off Highway 40. High desert warm days and cool nights appealed to many such groups from the eastern part of the nation. On a Friday night, a few local rowdy teens and some gang members were antagonizing the travel trailer group and threatening to beat up a few of them for "mouthing off" about too much noise. As they got out of hand and started to do just that, a senior citizen using his cell phone called 911. The town police responded quickly bringing along their new equipment just recently delivered to them. The macho gang members only jeered at the two police arriving in their lonely police vehicle.

"Hey flat foot, what can you do against all seven of us? Huh? Are you going to cuff us and put us in your two-bit jail? Huh? Come on, let's rumble. We'll take you apart," and with that threat they rushed at the two police officers.
Without any comment the two officers unholstered their Nicky pistols and a cobalt blue laser beam hit the two most noisy ones, raising them up a good five feet in the air while their companions just gaped watching them flail around in the air. One of them on the ground got up and lunged at the smaller officer only to find himself lasered almost ten feet above ground. The remaining gang took off as best they could leaving their cars and girl friends awe struck along with the astounded tourists now pouring out of their travel trailers. The three remaining gang members still suspended in the air were brought down one by one with police lasers. They were cuffed and taken to the "two bit" jail for booking.
After congratulating the local police, the tourists were not about to keep such an event quiet. The episode was reported at all their stops along their journey home to whoever would listen to their unusual story. It was repeated on their way home to small town newspapers and radio stations in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama and at their homes in Georgia. This was the exact manner of response wanted by Illimitables. And it worked.

The culmination of these stories from so many different witnesses on their way home created a gratis million dollar advertising campaign. Several of the newspapers held interviews making some of the observers celebrities in their own right. Most were very factual however, regardless of some embellishments by the more vocal that witnessed that event.
By the end of the second week even the major media had heard stories about that happening in New Mexico. 'Another Roswell, New Mexico tale' was the headline in several eastern papers. Diana demanded from her boss who was watching only her legs that she should go to New Mexico and find the truth behind all this nonsense of cops incapacitating criminals by letting them flounder around in mid air using some kind of special blue light..

"Miss Baccaman, you can go to New Mexico only if you have dinner with me tonight--- in my apartment," said her boss, finally looking at her face.
"I'm desperate for a really different story. Hmmm. I'll do it with or without your dinner at your place, even if I have to pay my own passage out West. I will, however, have dinner with you at the Grill down the street in their brightly lit dinning area." Her boss, Frederick Kitch, agreed rather reluctantly and the Grill it was. Her boss was not an unattractive man, just a male that kept women away by the over use of his groping hands. After a very nice dinner and a constant routine of wriggling away from what seemed to her like his eight arms and sixteen hands, she thanked him for the evening and the opportunity to go to New Mexico on assignment and kissed him on the cheek. Dodging his hands as she rushed out. Freddie admonished her sternly, "It better be a damned good story, girl, the paper is paying for it on my say so" Smiling, she left, going home in a cab to her own apartment. She knew her Boss, Freddie, Kitch nick- named 'ready Freddie' by the office females, wasn't a bad guy, just over exuberant. She wondered if her old boyfriend, Bill Bump, somewhere out West, would be anywhere they might meet again.
Meanwhile, and back in the compound, the pace of activity was feverish. In the process of getting things in order for the Patent office visitors, it was found out Tesla never bothered to renew many of his patents and some of them became public domain. The inspection by prying eye bureaucrats was directed away from the most secretive areas and into the innovative small, lightweight packaging for shipment of the patented chemicals used for mixing the special cement. The formula, just recently patented with its trademark was labeled "Porcelment." The trademark was simply a black, fat and squat sized arrow pointing up on each side of the trademark name.

"These Porcelment orders are coming from our Finish contacts who have been financing us."
volunteered Thelma Sales. "When mixed properly, they are used in all sorts of construction work as they then have the tensile strength of tempered steel and less than half the weight of aluminum of equivalent size." She added that the compound was really not large enough for very much more volume, and that they might have to expand by licensing on a royalty basis. "Happily we can protect ourselves from foreign or most other competition by using ingredients we found while charting the ground for entirely different purposes." Thelma knew now why Olga was interested in the Illimitable's maps more than the laser development it led to. She told all this to Bruce MackIntosh when he returned from Scotland on his voluntary assignment with Henry to meet secretly with his Black Hand contacts there.
"That was an experience in itself," Henry said, grinning at Bruce, now wearing kilts. "Those are not really good wear in New Mexico". Bruce then ran off a series of reasons why his Finnish friend was wrong in a rather stiff jawed Scottish brogue until Thelma and Peter Radford said they believed him, and to please cease the history lesson about the Clans.
Bruce knew that most of the Porcelment imported into Finland was being transshipped to the Dublin Ireland area and the Isle of Man in the Irish Sea West of the British Isles..

This beautiful and historic little spot was the location of several ancient stone castles with underground dungeons built by the Celts or marauding Vikings even before Romans came while conquering Britain centuries ago. The Black Hand told Bruce with some alarm and concern, that it is now owned by several eccentrics, now wealthy, ex-KGB agents with the Code name of BORAS. It is used as their new base of operations since being modernized and refurbished with new vaults and electronics of the latest state of the art. It is used for supplying funds from numbered Swiss and Hong Kong accounts set up just prior to the Soviet Union collapsing. It now serves old comrades keeping money, looted treasure and other stolen goods in the dungeon vaults. It is kept in the vaults to be used in satisfying their hedonistic requirements and cash obtained from weapon and spy paraphernalia sales to Rogue regimes anywhere. Some old die-hard comrades still in Poland and East Germany wanted to continue their glory days of Kremlin power. Porcelment is in very high demand from some of these old agents selling the small packages of it to anyone meeting their price. It seems to be impervious to cutting, smashing, or breaking up no matter what stress it is subjected to after it is molded as desired by users. Terrorists want it for construction of safe havens for their operations and anything else their twisted minds conceive. Their own chemists have been trying to duplicate ingredients without any success. .

"It is imperative that we protect the formulas for our cement with the same efforts we make for the laser and power back pack," continued Bruce. "Evidently some of our Helsinki University.
Associates have a different group handling some of the sales for our cement mixtures."

Joe Bump spoke up, "It is time we speak to our own Military through our own chosen channels of communication. We have already received requests from NASA and the US Navy. Watching and reading the media prompted their inquiries. We must assure them that this is not just another Roswell, UFO New Mexico story. Roy Beems will coordinate all this with Fred White in security, and our legal eagle Daniel Vanwill. Our compound will be 'beefed up' with several trusted ex-Marines and navy Seals, personally chosen by White."
"Time flies when you are having fun or are really busy" is an old cliché, but it certainly fit all the action in the compound. Key military as well as Police intelligence officials were demanding to see demonstrations to separate media hype from reality. The Bumps were now only too happy for such opportunity. After several demonstrations in the compound, these special representatives enthusiastically agreed such a laser would be a remarkable and much needed addition to their arsenals. Their reactions were exactly what the Bumps had hoped for. Law enforcement and the Military both saw a new and effective way not only to fight crime, but equally important to the military forces on and off a field of battle. Totally impressed, these key military and police personnel began their individual campaigns to get the Illimitables to increase production for the Nicky laser and Porcelment.

The obvious need now was for more operating space. The Bumps were again involved in seeking much more acreage adjacent to the present location and hoping for a reasonable price for expanded acreage using their own funds from profitable sales of the Nicky and Porcelment.

Real Estate sales in New Mexico like all Western states were rising. Parcel after parcel was bid on and only a one hundred and fifty acre parcel could be tied up and placed into escrow, as the two forty acre parcels next to their compound was already in a probate situation for the past year or so.
Growing curiosity about what was going on in the compound did not help. These two parcels would give them the needed additional acreage adjacent to their now patrolled chain link fence. The attorney handling the probate was contacted and she suggested that the Bumps make an offer. "The only winner in this will be me," she stated in disgust, "and I am about to get out of this legal rat race handling this sort of thing for clients too forgetful to have placed their property into a living trust."
"Mrs. Alma Jones," addressed by Bill Bump, "Would you consider our offer of $4,ooo- an acre a fair price?"
" I would, but there are several years of my legal fees that need to be satisfied"
After two hours of heated negotiations and some friendly talk about everything under the sun, Alma finally admitted it was not in probate. It was settled in favor of her clients who now had no money left to pay her.
"My son is not interested in going into this business with me. He wants to be a priest and has already taken vows of poverty. So if you will raise your offer to $6,000- an acre for the two parcels, you have a deal."
"That's more than we can handle as we do not believe in too much debt," smiled Joe. "Would you consider $4,500- and have dinner with us and maybe a tour of our compound?"
Alma was a widow and being beguiled by boyish Joe and his manly brother, Bill, finally replied: "Oh, what the heck. I will get my fees all paid and I can move back to Virginia and be close to my daughter Janet and my grandkids. I won't have to be stuck out here in the sticks all by myself. My husband, bless him, came out here with our children for health reasons and two years later fell on his head when the horse he was riding bucked at seeing a rattlesnake"
Dinner it was. Papers were signed and approved the next day by Daniel Vanwill, Arrangements were made and. Mrs. Jones was given VIP treatment upon visiting the compound to personally pick up her certified check. She was impressed by what Joe Bump guided her to see. "Is this all you wanted the extra acreage for." Joe just smiled and told her that they had big plans for the future.

Production on the Nicky and Porcelment could now be expanded in earnest. Two months later, orders began coming in from all over the nation. Cash or certified cashier checks only were accepted from police departments sending their offices for proper training and to pick them up. No shipments would be made for the Nicky. Purchasers were required to visit the compound with the agreed amount of payment with them, for complete training, and with their signatures on the official Illimitables contract. It specified no unauthorized personal use, or borrowing of the units, as the new Nicky included a greater capacity power backpack, which made it capable of allowing larger objects to be degravitized.
Large cash orders for packages of Porcelment were leaving the compound now for destinations bypassing Finland in the hopes of curtailing transshipments to undesirables uncovered by Bruce's information from Scotland.

Compound personnel increased from the small founders group to over sixty. Small ads in college and university newspapers for graduates majoring in electrical, chemistry, business, Liberal Arts, economics and accounting, were advised to contact "The Illimitables" on their web site and send Resumes direct to special post boxes in different towns. Coordinator Beems working with Jhelkis, Springer, White, and final review by the Bump brothers was slow but effective in finding the quality people needed and willing to start at the bottom to learn.

Leopard Spots Never Change

Olga and Oscar were now demanding why no Porcelment shipments were coming to Finland. They were not happy with explanations from Professor Munterman at the University. She was very upset and threatened to eliminate all gold credits and funds placed in the Helsinki bank. Oscar, as usual, just nodded his approval, grinned and was satisfied with Olga's tirade. She told her dear old professor in a combination of Russian and German he better do something about it right now! He was rocked back on his heels by her change from usual sweetness toward him and backed into a nearby chair and just stared at her. Oscar just continued grinning and waved his index finger admonishing him to pay attention.
"I have no more control over the funds or the Porcelment previously sent here." he tried to explain. With that, the demeanor on Oscar's face changed as he grabbed Munterman's coat lapels and raised him up from his chair. A few uttered KGB threats brought the old gentleman to tears.
Oscar just dumped him back into the chair and stormed off, leaving Olga hovering over him demanding to know who now controlled the movements for the Porcelment, smiling and moving her hips suggestively.... Professor Munterman told her of the changes that had recently developed. He briefly mentioned something about a BORAS person paying twice the import price for direct shipment to the Isle of Man. She then apologized and returned to her old sweetness and charm, leaning over him and pressing her breasts into his face. "Thank you Professor Alfred Munterman, name whatever favor you want and I will provide you with it," "Oy!" was all the old Professor could mutter and got up out of his chair and left, mumbling to himself.

The next day these two Russians left for Moscow with their information going direct to the organization responsible for funding Helsinki University. That was the last the University ever heard or saw of them or their funding. When the story got back to the Illimitables compound from the engineering department at the Finnish University, no one was surprised, as it all seemed to fit a pattern for the two now recognized industrial spies.

"We can't allow the old KGB wizards a chance to make money using our products for any terrorist activities," spoke up Richard Walson, the gravity specialist. "I'm certain it is only a matter of time before we are unknowingly furnishing Nicky as well as Porcelment to some lousy left wing government."
More Survey Data

Henry Jelkis and Bill Bump now determined it was time they return to Helsinki University to
Obtain from its archives more studies regarding Tesla and his so-called "power cannon." These studies were now required to continue previous casual research done by Henry's friend Lisa and her friend Milsaa. They had mentioned that just after World War Two, secret Nazi papers had been deposited in a small, private bank in the city and sealed up not being allowed to be opened until fifty years later. Three years ago the bank was sold and all financial records and other papers about the university endowment. were given to the university for safe keeping and for study. Lisa wrote Henry about all this special information being available now in her latest correspondence to him. He showed the letter to the Bump brothers. Bill suggested. that Joe go as he had too many commitments to handle in the compound getting ready for training more police department personnel in all the proper uses of the Nicky, personalizing each pistol to the user's individual hand prints..

Bill continued: "You know, the Kansas city PD found out that from our training here in the compound that two officers using their individual Nicky lasers concentrating the laser beams on a speeding car at the same time caused the vehicle to lose contact with the ground and be unable to move as it was an inch or two off the ground!" He went on, "That is due to the increased power in our new power backpack. I couldn't be more pleased, as it also shows our laser can be used just about anywhere without having to know which spots should be used from findings on our mapping. So, you two go back to Finland and get all the intelligence, data and information you can on the Tesla power cannon."

"Wonderful," grinned Henry and Joe. "I think brother Joe will be able to renew his acquaintance with his leggy Finn Milsaa," He added. Joe just looked sheepish and said he would look forward to it. "We will leave as soon as possible. "Bill stayed to work with the power engineers and to redesign the Nicky for shortened charging time for the backpack.

By the end of that week Henry and Joe returned to Helsinki. They were sitting down to a nice dinner at a favorite restaurant with Lisa and Milsaa. After all the pleasantries, hugs and reacquainting was over, they all got down to the purpose of the trip. : Henry finally asked, "When can we actually review these old Nazi files, Lisa?" "Tomorrow." was her answer and Lisa left with Henry, leaving Milsaa and Joe continuing in small talk until much later. "Where are you staying? Milsaa asked Joe. "We have a nice little guest room at the university. We stayed their last time," said Joe. .... Silence. ... Mustering up all his courage, he blurted out, red faced, if he could stay at her place. Without a word, she reached across the table, took his hand in hers, rose up pulling Joe with her. They left the restaurant arm in arm for her apartment.

The next morning, the four of them ate a Continental breakfast. Henry kept looking with amusement at the grinning face of Joe. Lisa then cleared her throat, smiled with an understanding glance at Milsaa, and then led the foursome to the university archives. Their old Professor friend Alfred prearranged authorization for them, and work began in earnest on the released files. Poring over these old documents in German was a tedious and enervating chore. Joe had no usable knowledge of that language. Henry could speak and read it fairly well. Milsaa knowing German and speaking it fluently dictated to Lisa the findings in English so they all knew what was being translated. All notes were recorded as well as printed. Joe was in awe watching the two beautiful women. Henry now called 'Hank' by them all was right at home in these archives. All were engrossed in them, but Joe was impatient for more nights with Milsaa and kept smiling and touching her as he brought in more files for translation and requesting some details about her and family. She just smiled and kept working which began to drive Joe a little batty over this blue eyed, dark haired, well-sculptured young Finnish lovely. He wondered if his brother Bill had felt this way when he gave up Diane to move into the compound. But Joe felt Bill was rather relieved as Diane was said to be a real shrew at times. He kept repeating to himself that the purpose of this trip was for Tesla Cannon data, not his rekindled feelings for Milsaa.

When their work ended at the archives, Henry wanted all four of them to go out to his favorite place, Lake Saimaa to do a little fishing. It was a beautiful, sunny day, and Lisa and Milsaa got into the spirit of it all with the exception of removing fish from a hook. It appeared at one time as though the small boat would tip over and dump them all into the lake. Joe made the women sit. down and not thrash around in all their commotion and just let the men do that part as Milsaa lost her balance almost falling overboard into some of Europe's coldest lake water. ."Oooh! Thank you, Honey," she kissed him hard and said, " I love you for saving my life!" as she grabbed ever ready Joe with his outstretched hand. "You saved me from freezing in that dreadfully cold water." Joe smiled from ear to ear. Lisa giggled, and Henry just shook his head and suggested that the five fish already caught would make a great meal. He mumbled something about it would have been better to purchase some fresh salmon at the Kauppatori fish market in downtown Helsinki and then let the woman remain on dry ground. The women offered to cook if Hank and Joe cleaned up after. Joe was happy repeating over and over in his head that Milsaa had addressed him as 'honey' and that she exclaimed her love for his good deed. The foursome split up into the usual twosome for their last night in Helsinki.

Henry and Joe had found what they were looking for in the long sealed off files and were just happy world war two ended before the experiments with the Tesla cannon were completed.
The Germans had planned to use 'heavy water' for atom splitting and the gigantic power surges needed from the captured Norwegian hydroelectric plants hidden far back up Fjords. Thanks to gutsy British RAF pilots known as the "dam busters" these best-laid secretive plans by the Nazis were destroyed and the power needed for the cannon never realized. Not too much was discussed with the women about the Illimitable's Nicky . They both decided that would come later, The four went to the Helsinki Finnair terminal, gave vent to their emotions with hugs, kisses and promises to meet again there or later in New Mexico. Off they went back to the States and more intense work. They were thankful for an uneventful flight home and a little shuteye before plunging into the next step of working with NASA

NASA had already sent a special cadre of some key rocket launch experts to be checked out at the compound using the Tesla Cannon. They reasoned that if the cannon could lift heavy weights it might eliminate the need for so much fuel and enable rockets to carry more payloads.
These experiments proved successful using only two TCs on smaller slender cylindrical type missiles in a controlled area. NASA then insisted on moving to White Sands, NM for the larger missiles and instead of only two TCs a group of six around a special launch tower were focused directly at the missile itself. A special portable power plant incorporating Peter Redford's patented booster/condenser/battery unit was distributing the necessary controlled power surges assigned for each TC. If all six cannon were used in sequence rather than all at once, the cobalt blue laser beams concentrated on the rocket gradually lifted it off the ground with better guidance as well as control. If too much power was concentrated in the blue beams they gradually turned into bright red and could be used to destroy rather than levitate!
That was not the purpose for the TC at this time. A heavier dummy warhead was successfully used keeping power levels adjusted for levitation, not destruction. After many more elaborate experiments NASA fired off the space shuttle with the Ilimitables equipment aboard. It was then taken to the launch area at the Kennedy Space center in Florida . . .The shuttle launched without the necessary huge fuel load previously found necessary. The TCs with their portable power plants opened a complete new chapter for space exploration and carrying more special equipment. "Top Secret," for TC use with rockets was placed on all such activities.

A Unique Solution
The Los Angeles, California Police Department went through very special training at the Compound in New Mexico. This particular experience, with practice on some remote roads in
the deserted areas of the state, proved quite successful in eliminating a Southern California highway and road hazard endangering motorists and others. By employing a smaller version of the TC, fitted onto the flat bed of a pickup truck, the LAPD could now pull along side of, or behind a fleeing vehicle, or in advance of a vehicle or car in a chase.
This practice required three officers. One expert driver, one as navigator and narrator, and the third in the back of the pickup to operate the smaller version of the TC. Employing the TC at precisely the correct moment when no traffic was in the way, the office in the back of the pickup directed the powerful laser beam at the runaway vehicle gradually raising it off the surface and raising it to five or ten feet above the ground. Both the LAPD chase pickup and the targeted subject were then stopped in a safe and controlled pace. What followed was routine police procedure. On rare occasions, if a particularly belligerent driver might be foolish and shoot at the police, then that vehicle and driver would be raised up over thirty feet, creating a very dangerous drop for the pursued criminal. If needed, the power would be cut off from the laser and both car and driver would smash into the ground, smashing and possibly killing the dumb driver and perhaps any passengers inside the vehicle. This practice soon eliminated most such dumb criminal drivers. . Although the Kansas City PD had been pioneering such procedures, the three man crew as used in Los Angeles seemed the best current approach for such situations.
The only objections to this more humane approach came from defense attorneys for such criminals and the ACLU. They would sue any police department that used the lack of gravity to deny the offender his natural use of such gravity as part of an offenders Constitutional rights to use gravity for their own defense in driving away from what later might lead to "Police Brutality." Some of their friends on the bench relished the twisted idea instead of throwing the case out of court. . .
With the training and sales of Illimitables services, training and products, now going to a more chosen client roster, the group decided against going public. They wanted to eliminate any possible loss of control to outsiders vying for an unfriendly takeover. What they had not planned on happened in another manner. Some of the less dedicated in the US Congress were accepting large donations and travel expenses from lobbyists around the world. The Middle East, Russian, mid European, China, Asian, and Third world nations were buying favors from Congress. They ferreted out such weak- kneed politicians and money hungry bureaucrats in the Attorney Generals Department of Justice, or anyplace else they could find them. These foreign and "American" lobbyists found every well known avenue to attack the now fast growing income of the Illimitables that was disappearing into many different offshore tax free accounts set up for educational foundations. The Justice Department claimed "Monopoly" from their minions of pettifogger lawyers on the taxpayer rolls. Daniel Vanwill said the Illimitables had plenty of competition from our own government.
"Without competition no monopoly could exist unless there is some. There were no competitors
To shut out. None was possible, since we patented everything we use for the benefit of
education, research, and to preserve our national security. " He explained the unique situation
Using the laws of our country. And being approved by US courts when Illimitables set up their
foundations to spend money for what they stated.. Finding their income proved to be a
daunting task for even the IRS. "Their special educational and scientific foundations were strictly
following the legal procedures as used by many before them such as the Ford, Kennedy,
Guggenheim, and the wry old Scot, Carnegie for his free public Libraries. And dozens more."
Vanwill concluded.. "We also pay leviathan taxes and comply with all applicable tax laws."
Daniel Vanwill had set up several very legal offshore company trusts with many layers of deft
management, copied from government practices. .

"You see," he exclaimed to government lawyers in Santa Fe, "We copied your examples of piling on layers of personnel to protect our own insignificant little bureaucracy which produces products and employment for many hundreds of people in America and overseas. Unlike you people, we produce. That seems to be something never heard of in your circles. We don't take, we produce. We help our Military, our police, the education of students, and we do not have any competition because we are totally unique. If competition appears, it must be unique. Not something like your people. You just make laws and then outlaw anything competing with you. You don't allow competition.".
That appeared to frustrate the Kangaroo court proceedings. Daniel then left them with an irrefutable final statement that proved historically apropos. It left them openmouthed.
He stated. "We do not wage war against our own people. You and the IRS do all the time. Stop it!" He turned and walked out of court, trailed by a following of media people

Foundation Funding for Quality Education
"Follow the money," spat out Bruce MacIntosh," at a special meeting in the Compound. "That's all some of these so called representatives in government understand. We should use some of our growing income to educate our own people here in America. I came to this country, to be more free from too much government controlling my own life!"
"Right." said Daniel Vanwill. "People today don't read or understand that the 'Declaration of Independence' applies to our present day government just as much as it applied to the colonists.
fighting for independence from King George III and his minions of sycophant bureaucrats."

This meeting went on into the night and before it was over, the group agreed to establish to fund chosen educational institutions promoting Constitutional studies and legal defense against outside, destructive, Marxist, Keynesian influences still taught in America's Academia..
Chosen local school boards around the country were to receive funds by contracting for courses and books dedicated to educating, not just pushing students through the elitist money mill to receive more federal and state funding from taxpayers. Home Schooling was to be sponsored and helped by providing interested home school advocates with The Hillsdale Academy Reference Guide. It would be provided to any school board for a small fee to assure parents that some tax money would be used for educating younger as well as older students to the basic fundamentals of good government.

"Why are you doing all this with your funding when you know that some of your Tesla Cannons and Nickys will be eventually used by criminals." Asked a reporter from an Albuquerque paper in a telephone interview? Bill Bump took the time to personally write a letter in answer. "Criminals and other possible users will not be able to use our devices as they will not be trained or 'registered' on any device unless his own personal palm, eye, or fingerprints match up. The only place to get this is from our unique training. We periodically invite contract users to return for renewing their individual registrations. If they fail to comply within a certain given period of time it automatically becomes inoperative."
Bill went on, "Our education funds, we are counting on to do the job of teaching students in our present generation and those in the future; to understand American culture and what made the country strong; though individual Free Enterprise, respect for private property, freedom to pray anywhere and anytime, and understand morality in our daily living experiences, and especially in government and all public life. We promote the study and understanding of the men who wrote the 'Federalist Papers."
This answer was sent to the paper and published the following week. A month later, the NEA, government unions and liberals attacked the answer.

"Let 'em steam and work up some stupid responses" Bill Bump smiled. "let them yelp in vain. From now on I do no more explanations. We Illimitables are unique and plan to stay that way."

Little did Bill Bump realize that the story eventually hit the desk of Diane in New York.
Arriving in Albuquerque a few days latter Diane went direct to the newspaper editor who was a friend of her editor in New York to get information from the reporter who did the telephone interview with Bill Bump. She became very incensed that there was no way to trace the number or call back as it was from a cell phone using a special satellite put up a few months earlier using their own TC's to send it into orbit from the Compound for the exclusive use of the Illimitables
"Well, how did you get the interview by phone? " She said sliding up on the editors desk and revealing her long legs under a mini-skirt. "Well," said Kenny Downs, the editor, "Mr Bump just called us at the paper to answer a letter addressed to him at a general post office box in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He evidently didn't get it for sometime as the letter was dated a month before his call." The editor smiled, looking her over and then suggested, "let's do lunch."

Albuquerque has many great restaurants and eating establishments. It can be a real treat for
those who enjoy the spicy and flavorful south of the border cuisine. Many restaurants specialize in large portions usually washed down with Margaritas or even more potent liquids..
Kenny had a taste for the warmer dishes. He relished his Chalupas combo plate with Chile rellenos and Flan for dessert, while explaining what they were and what they contained. Diane continued to ply him for details of the luncheon ingredients and mixing in her own questions about where the compound might be found...
The editor loved this kind of food and drink. He was an easy target for Diane's charm. After several Margaritas and a couple of straight Tequila and Kailua Chasers, he was just putty in her presence and told her whatever she wanted know, and just about where she might find the Compound and her lost friend, Bill Bump. She drove him back to the Newspaper and helped him into his office, kissed him on the forehead, and left him with a smile on his face. "At last, "she said to herself." I think I can find my elusive Mr Bump."

Having made contact with an older, retired journalist from a rival New York paper named Sam Graph, Diane drove her rented car to see him in Roswell, New Mexico and asked for his help in locating the mysterious Compound. In her usual flamboyant display of greeting old friends and associates, the good man caved in to her charms of kisses and hugs. He knew approximately where it was located. "Somewhere a little North West of Roswell here and in Lincoln County, and maybe a little East of the Capitan Mountains," Sam volunteered. "There have been some really funny things going on around that area"
"Like what?" asked Diane
An hour later they both left in her car after Sam's explanations and comments about what appeared to be like rocket or missile trails in the evening sky now and then. Sam was enough of a gentlemen to rent two separate rooms in a small motel in the tiny town of Vaughn, New Mexico. The next couple of days they
